Training

High Fen Riding Club owes much of its success to the extensive training that it offers club members and is proud to run a programmme throughout the year for riders and horses at all levels. Training extends from the very basics of Dressage, Show Jumping, and Cross Country, up to Novice and Intermediate Levels. The current training system is organised for both individuals and teams by:

Cher East

Fordham House Farm, Fordham Road, Mount Bures, Essex, CO8 5AZ

Mobile: 07903 670895

HFRC is blessed to have such a range of trainers available to them and wish to convey their gratitude to David Merrett, Fiona Bowen, Jonathan Allison, Matthew Flowers and Robbie Haag for all their support throughout the year.

If you have never been to a training session and would like to have a chat about it first, please feel free to ring Cher, or you can contact us.

High Fen Training Policy

High Fen Riding Club are committed to organising training programmes to suit all our members’. If you have any specific training requirements, please contact us.

The training clinics we organise are not run to generate income for the Club, but must cover the cost of the trainer and the venue used. This means we need a full compliment of members’ for all the sessions to enable clinics to run.

To help us ensure that clinics are not cancelled, and the club does not incur costs please:-

complete the booking form and send a cheque for the full amount as soon as possible, but at least 12 working days prior to the date of the training clinic

send a separate cheque for each clinic/social/event - it helps to simplify our accounting, plus any cheque covering more than one item will probably be paid in following the first event covered by it, so you'll be out of pocket until after the last one.

note that we reserve the right to cancel a training clinic, if the income is not sufficient to cover the cost of the training clinic

note, we are unable to make any refunds, for any reason, within the 10 days prior to the training clinic

We will accept substitutions, subject to the following:

o It is your responsibility to get your training fee refunded from your replacement, we will not refund you

o If you have already been allocated your group, your replacement must be working at the same level

o You must immediately notify the High Fen training organiser of the substitution

If you are interested in organising a training event for High Fen Riding Club, please speak to Cher, or contact us.

.....

Please note, the clinics are in date order - not in the order they were added!!
